20 years on, to honour this incredible piece of work and to mark Candy’s first trip to Kinsale, we set ourselves the challenge to recreate the ad as an animatic. We hope you enjoy our efforts! The animatic showcases five of the Candy Crew lead artists. Their styles, whilst unique, blend beautifully to create a lovely, emotive visual narrative. If this were’t enough, the animatic also features an original V/O and music.
